Hansen's Hounds is a small family owned kennel located in
SW Iowa that raises and enjoys our bloodhounds together.
Our bloodhound puppies are socialized soon after birth and
as soon as they are able, played with daily by the entire
family.
We selected our bloodhounds for their health, disposition,
looks, and family history. Our
desire is to work with the bloodhounds natural abilities:
hunting, field trials, search and rescue, man-trailing, as
well as offering a loyal and lovable companion.
Bloodhounds are people loving, playful, graceful, and
gentle, yet have a one track mind!

It is what they were bred to do. So, before you purchase a bloodhound puppy, make sure you learn
as much as you can about the breed.
We are proud to offer a limited number of puppies from
each litter at a reduce price to organizations proven to
provide to the public search and rescue services.
